How To Draw Military Vehicles

Step by step instructions for practical drawing of tanks, airplanes and helicopters.

Items required for work: blank white sheet of paper good quality, pencil with medium-hard or soft lead, eraser. Compass, ink, feather, brush, ballpoint pen, felt-tip pen - at will.

Choose a sample of military equipment that you want to draw.
With light touches of a pencil, without pressure, very carefully and carefully draw on the paper the strokes that make up the initial (first) "step" - usually it is in the upper left corner of your chosen scheme.
Then take the second "step" - also without pressure and just as carefully. Watch not only the direction and curvature of the lines, but also the distance between them, that is, their relative position. The size of the drawing should match the size of your sheet of paper - not too small or too large. The first "steps" seem to be the least difficult, but they must be performed with special precision, because any mistake made at the beginning of the process can ruin the final result.

New lines for each "step" are shown in the diagram in bold, so that it is easier for you to recognize what exactly should be added to your drawing at the next stage.
Continue with light, thin strokes. If a line is too thick or dark, lighten it with an eraser: run it along the line without much pressure, not trying to erase it completely.

And a few more tips.
Remember that for all the apparent complexity of some objects, they can always be reduced to simple geometric shapes: a ball, a cone, a pyramid, a cube, a parallelepiped, a cylinder.

And, of course, say, ships do not exist on their own, but as a rule, they organically fit into the surrounding landscape. Therefore, the elements of the landscape - the sea, the river, the rocks, even if only slightly outlined - will significantly revive and enrich the drawing.

When you have finished drawing light strokes, that is, having completed the entire eight "steps" shown in the selected diagram, and making sure that all the elements of your drawing correspond to the desired image, circle them with confident pencil movements with the necessary pressure. After this final finishing, the drawing can be considered finished. If you want, you can enhance the contrast of the lines using mascara (using a thin brush or steel feather), ballpoint pen or felt-tip pen. When the ink, paste, or ink is dry, use the eraser to remove unnecessary pencil marks.

Remember: if the first attempts to draw do not lead to the desired result, keep trying. It is very important not to lose persistence, patience, and enthusiasm. In the end, your efforts will be crowned with complete success - at that moment you may not immediately believe yourself, but you will still be pleasantly surprised by what you have achieved.

We sincerely hope that your drawing skills will improve and the long time spent on recreating the images of all these formidable and in their own way beautiful pieces of equipment will not be wasted.

Military pencil drawings can be created in stages, even for small children. There are a lot of lessons and instructions on the net, pictures for sketching, which allow you to independently transfer various types of military equipment to paper.

Drawing on military theme boys will like to draw with a pencil, but girls can also create such pictures, for example, on the eve of the big holiday on May 9 or February 23. On Victory Day, the drawing will be an excellent gift for veterans or relatives who served in the army.

Military plane pencil drawing

Military aircraft can in the form simple drawing look interesting with a pencil without coloring with paints or colored pencils. First, you should check if you have the tools you need to create your art project:

  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • a blank sheet of paper;
  • eraser.

If possible, choose pencils hard and soft, which are convenient for making auxiliary lines or directing the main ones. The following simple instruction will allow little artists to create their own beautiful military aircraft on paper.

  1. Create basic lines that serve as a base for placing the plane on the leaf. Using a ruler, draw a long line, which we tilt down a little. The second will intersect the first, you need to lead it from the lower left corner of the leaf to the upper right, this is the basis for the wings and tail. To make the tail of the airplane realistic, add a small short line on the first main line, it should be perpendicular.
  2. If the lines are not a good enough guide to draw the correct shape of the plane, create additional points that serve as the edges of the nose, tail and wings of the object. It is recommended to start from the far right point where the nose will be located.
  3. Draw the cockpit with smooth lines. Movements should be smooth, you should not press on the paper with a pencil. The cockpit lines should taper slightly as they approach the leftmost point where the tail of the aircraft is.
  4. From the main lines of the cockpit, focusing on the second auxiliary with the same soft and smooth movements, draw the wings of the aircraft.
  5. An important final step for the base is drawing the tail. Military aircraft may have a tail different shapes, with additional elements, so it is advisable to look at the example drawing and ask the child to copy the finished form.
  6. The last step is to add important elements to bring the plane to life. A child can add various emblems to the airplane body, and can not do without drawing the front glass and side windows.
  7. After the lines are hovered, using the eraser, delete auxiliary lines and points, excess strokes that were the basis of the sketch.

All drawings of military equipment in pencil are created on such a basis: auxiliary lines intersecting in the right places, as a guideline for creating basic contours.

Military ship pencil drawing

Military pencil drawings allow the child not only to understand the basics of creating complex drawings, but also to study the structure of various vehicles. Many children enjoy creating a warship and a pencil drawing that requires following instructions.

Unlike the previous drawing, children begin their art project by drawing the waves of the sea, which are located at the bottom of the leaf. Waves are curved lines that young artists can draw.

On the waves, you need to place one horizontal line without a slope. A ruler will come to the rescue in this. The length of the main horizontal line should be of medium length, taking into account that additional lines will diverge at the sides, continuing the base of the ship's hull, they are made using a ruler. For this, the ruler is placed slightly obliquely towards the outer sides of the leaf. You can connect these two lines with one solid line. The base of the ship is ready.

Next, you should be guided by an example-picture from which the cabin compartments and deck details are copied. Cannons are drawn without fail, and the main "highlight" of such a creation will be the flag of the ship. An important detail picture. At the end, a few curved lines of waves are added around the ship to create the illusion of a military vehicle moving.

Such military pencil drawings for children may seem simple at first glance, but with the help of shading they decorate the picture, and if there is a desire, they add a little color with the help of paints.

Soldier drawing

Small children can draw a drawing of a military soldier with a pencil. The main thing is to pre-practice to repeat the basic geometric shapes and learn how to make neat lines.
As in the case with the drawing of a military aircraft with a pencil for children, it is worth creating several auxiliary lines with which the proportions of the soldier's body will be correct.

  1. First, he will work on the markup. The frame of the picture is the basis of the soldier's body. Draw an oval on the top of the vertical line, which serves as the base for the head. Just below it draws two trapezoids - the base of the body. From the trapezoid we make lines for the arms and lines below for the legs. An important point- the drawing is made larger in order to display all the details well.
  2. In the area of the oval, for accuracy, you can create auxiliary lines with thin strokes: one horizontally just above the center of the oval, the second vertical clearly in the center, crossing the area of the future face of the soldier. Draw ears from the oval on the sides with neat curved lines. Along the auxiliary horizontal line, add eyes and two eyebrow souls just above them. In the lower part, the nose will be located, and between the created details of the face. On top of the oval, you can add a bang.
  3. We draw a garrison cap. If it is difficult to repeat its shape, you can stop at a small triangle that "sits" exactly on top of the oval.
  4. From the oval down to the trapezoid in smooth lines.
  5. From the neck, we move on to drawing the shape of the body, making the trapezoid not so angular. At this stage, you can immediately tackle details such as the collar, other elements of clothing in the form of a belt and pagons.
  6. Don't forget about pockets, buttons and a star on the strap.
  7. The lower part is trousers. Children should be helped with them, because not all small artists will be able to repeat the lines of the folds of their trousers. We finish this part with boots.
  8. Step by step, without haste, we draw the arms, the sleeves of the form, from which the soldier's hands are visible. It is not necessary to draw the hands in detail. Toddlers can stop at a schematic image.

Children, especially boys, are usually interested in military equipment. Pictures for children depicting its main varieties are therefore always very popular. Using such pictures, you can help children learn the names of different types of military vehicles and find out their key features.

Pictures depicting military vehicles for kindergarten are especially relevant.

In a group with their help, you can conduct a thematic lesson, timed to coincide with Victory Day or other suitable occasion. All that is needed in this case is to print pictures according to the number of children and prepare a small explanation about each type of technique:

Anti-aircraft missile system - helps to fight against air and space forces. It can be of different types.

Warship - during the war, shells and fuel are transported on it. Ships that carry soldiers are called landing ships.

Aircraft carrier. This is a warship carrying fighter planes.

Military helicopter - transports soldiers and cargo.

Armored Personnel Carrier - designed to transport military personnel; if necessary, it can fire from onboard guns.

Armored vehicle - performs the same tasks as an armored personnel carrier.

An infantry fighting vehicle is another means of transporting soldiers.

The nuclear submarine is the main weapon of the navy.

Tank. The main threat to all ground forces.

Strategic missile launcher (missile launcher). Designed for the transportation and launch of missiles.

Self-propelled gun - the main assistant of tanks and infantry in battle. Fighter picture

Even a cursory acquaintance with different kinds military equipment will help broaden the horizons of children and awaken in them a desire to learn more about military science. Therefore, pictures depicting military vehicles for children of different ages will be very useful.

Military equipment drawings for children

Children may need not only pictures, but also drawings for sketching. We bring to your attention a drawing with a tank, a cheerful soldier and a Russian flag.

Almost every boy in childhood plays "war", collects soldiers and cars, arranges imaginary battles and battles. And he probably asks his parents how to draw military equipment, especially if he is an aspiring artist. Such are our "boys"! Let's try and we do it together with our children.

Where to start?

To draw military equipment step by step with a pencil, you first need to decide what types of it we will depict? In this tutorial we propose to draw an airplane and a tank.

Fighter aircraft

To depict it, we need to know only some of the structural features of this aircraft. And also you need to maintain the proportions of the wing and tail of the aircraft in the drawing. It is not so difficult and even within the power little child(under the guidance of parents, of course)! A military plane is different from a passenger plane. It has a slightly different shape, as well as additional devices: missiles, weapons. So, the lesson "How to draw military equipment", part one - an airplane.

Step 1. First, draw the main lines of the aircraft (its body, wings, tail). To do this, draw a straight long horizontal line on a sheet of paper. On one side of the line, draw a square outline - the future cockpit. Draw two other lines on the sides, slightly obliquely - these are the wings. Below we draw two more oblique small lines - the future tail. The result is a sketch of the contours of a military fighter plane.

Step 2. Let's detail the image. Let's start with the front. Let's make a sharp nose like a rocket. Next: from here we branch out the contours to the wings. Create a stroke for the back part - the fender liners of the tail. There are also turbines. Let's draw them using ovals. If the plane is flying, we will depict the fire from the turbines.

Step 3. Smooth the corners of the lines, remove unnecessary ones. The plane is almost ready. We finish drawing weapons under the wings - most likely, these will be missiles.

Step 4. Now add shadows, shade, add volume. Do not forget about aerodynamics in the lesson "How to draw military equipment"! Otherwise, our plane won't fly!

If you wish, you can draw a pilot in the cockpit. You can paint the fuselage and wings if you like. The camouflage of the body is also suitable.

Tank

We continue our lesson "How to draw military equipment with a pencil." And the next stage is the tank. His something, probably, every boy wants to draw! If you want to know, the image of a tank (or self-propelled gun) is one of the most popular among the guys.

Step 1. The tank consists of geometric shapes: rhombus, oval, square. Therefore, it is quite simple to draw it - if it is done schematically. First, draw a sketch for the tank tracks. In the form of a hexagon. Inside is a center line, which will then help us draw wheels of the same size.

Step 3. We begin to draw the tower. This is a rectangle. We will also round off its corners at the back. Let's depict the muzzle of the tank. It emerges from the tower in the form of a horizontal pipe.

Step 4. Draw the wheels in the chassis of the tank. We make sure that they are proportional to the size of the entire drawing.

Step 5. Remove unnecessary, hatch, shade. The drawing is ready!

Outcomes

In this lesson, you learned how to draw a military vehicle with your boy. If he asks you to make such a drawing, it will not be difficult for you. Draw together! Good luck with your creativity!

In this lesson, you can learn how to draw a soldier using a pencil and your own patience.

Previously, we have already drawn drawings on a military theme:

In drawing a soldier, the lesson "" may also be useful to you, but this is for a deeper understanding. So let's get started.

First, we make a basic marking, such a frame for the body of our soldier. Above - an oval in the form of a head, Next, it connects to the body of two trapezoids, then the line of the legs and also the line of the arms. Did it work like the picture below? Moving on.

Within the oval, we need to draw the head-face of a soldier. First, mark the oval with guide lines, draw the ears on the sides. Draw the eyes and eyebrows along the horizontal line, just below the nose and mouth. Add lines to the ears, draw a little short hair of the soldier.

Draw a garrison cap on top. Add its top and also a star. We finish drawing the neck.

So, we have our head ready, we can add the collar and shoulders to our friend.

The next step is to draw its shape, or rather its upper part. We draw shoulder straps and a belt.

Pockets, buttons and a star on the belt should also be depicted on the top of the form.

Now you need to draw the lower part - the pants. Pay attention to the creases.

Do not forget to draw also the hands of our soldier in uniform. Draw the sleeves in stages, and then draw the palms. It will not be very easy for beginners to draw detailed hands, so everything is very schematic.

It remains only to draw the boots.
